A 911 hang up call results in the arrest of a Spindale man...
Spindale North Carolina Police say early Monday morning, 1/19/26, they received a 911 call from the Pleasant Street area, but the caller hung up.
Officers still responded to the area, and found a man and woman in the roadway.
The man, identified as Cedric Surratt of Grover, NC, was taken into custody and booked into the Rutherford County Detention Center. The woman was treated at the scene after EMS was requested.
Surratt faces multiple charges, including Attempted First Degree Murder. His bond has been denied.
