Two more Washington D.C. police officers who responded to the January 6th invasion of the U.S. Capitol, Gunther Hashida and Kyle deFreytag, have taken their own lives. These most recent suicides follow the deaths of Capitol Police Officer Howard Liebengood and D.C. Police Officer Jeffery Smith, both of whom took their own lives in the days following the insurgence.
