Abandoned vehicle and guns found after Upstate shooting

A vehicle believed to have been used in an Upstate shooting Wednesday morning was found abandoned and guns were found in and around the vehicle.

The Spartanburg Police Department responded around 4:30AM to a report of shots fired on Willow Oaks Drive. Officers searched the area and found a white Hyundai sedan abandoned after it crashed on Winterhaven Road.

Police say a pistol was found on the ground near the car, two other handguns were discovered during a subsequent search. What appeared to be blood was found inside the car.

Police say a neighbor captured video footage of the driver of the Hyundai and the another car having words and then a shootout ensued.

No arrests have been announced as of this time and no further details have been available as of this time.
