All four suspects in a weekend shooting that killed an Upstate teenager are now in custody. As we previously reported, Cherokee County Deputies responded to a shooting just after 4 pm Sunday, at the Connecticut Village Apartments in Gaffney.
18 year old, Tony Medrano was found suffering from a gunshot wound when Deputies arrived. He later died at Spartanburg Regional. Medrano was reportedly visiting a friend when he was shot. The four suspects fled the scene and later crashed their getaway vehicle.
Two suspects were taken into custody Sunday night, they are both under 18 and have not been identified. Two other suspects, were arrested Monday and have been identified as Pharrell Jaquan Wilkins and Rejshun Centrel Holmes. All four suspects are charged with the murder of Tony Medrano.
