An Anderson County man has been arrested in connection with a murder in Oconee County. 27 year old, Braxton Earl of Pendleton is facing a murder charge after the shooting death of 62 year old, Richard Keese of Pendleton.
The shooting occurred August 31st at a home on the Utica Mill Hill in Seneca. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office launched a homicide investigation after they were called out for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, Deputies found Mr. Keese had been shot, he died on the scene from the gunshot wound.
Earl was booked in Oconee County on Thursday afternoon, he was then transferred to the Anderson County Detention Center.
