An Anderson County man is dead after a shooting there over the weekend. Authorities responded to a reported shooting at a lounge in Honea Path around 11 PM Saturday night.
Upon arrival, a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The Anderson County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 33 year old Kevin Nemiah Ellis of Honea Path.
His death has been ruled a homicide and is being investigated by the Honea Path Police Department. As of the time of this report, no arrests have been announced in the case.
