POLL: Is the Delta variant of COVID-19 being exaggerated?

About 73 percent of unvaccinated Americans believe the risk of contracting the Delta variant is being “exaggerated.” That’s according to poll conducted by ABC News and the Washington Post, which also found that 79 percent of unvaccinated people believe there’s little or no chance they’ll catch the virus. Apparently, some of the country’s anti-vaxxers were converted after they received their first dose of vaccine. Of the people who have gone in for their first shot, 30 percent say they have no intention of returning for their second, the poll reveals.
