Just over five years after his death, Upstate police officers paid a tribute to a fallen comrade. The Spartanburg Police Department held a ceremony Wednesday morning at city hall to honor Master Officer Jason Harris.
On the night of April 11th 2017, Harris was on his police motorcycle when it crashed into another vehicle. The police department says Harris was responding to a reported robbery in the area. Harris was severely injured in the crash, he died during surgery two days later.
