A suspect is in custody in Western North Carolina after he allegedly posed as a representative of PayPal during an attempted email scam. The Henderson County Sheriff's Office says, they were notified of an email scam with suspects posing as PayPal employees.
An operation was then launched and it has led to the arrest of 64 year old, Ronny Johnson. Investigators say they discovered he was part of large scale fraud scheme. Johnson was arrested Tuesday and is charged with two counts of aiding and abetting.
