Police say a fight led to shots being fired at an Upstate store, Wednesday afternoon. The Laurens Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at the Super Mart and Grill around 3 PM.
Upon arrival, investigators learned that a verbal argument led to a suspect firing shots. The suspect identified as 33 year old, MarquevisBrown. He fled prior to officers arriving on scene.

A bystanders car was hit with gunfire, but thankfully no injuries were reported. Brown was later located nearby and was taken into custody. He's charged with attempted murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, aggravated breach of peace and a weapons violation.
Investigators say that a search warrant turned up guns, drugs and cash were found on Brown during his arrest. The Laurens PD is still investigating the incident and more charges against Brown are expected to be filed.
