An arrest has been made after an attempted robbery at an Upstate discount store, earlier this month. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened at the Dollar General on Table Rock Road in the Pumpkintown Community, April 5th.
The Sheriff's Office says, the suspect Evyn Patton grabbed the cash drawer when it opened and a struggle ensued briefly between him and the cashier. Patton then fled the scene and was at large until he was located and arrested Thursday in Greenville County.
He's being held in Pickens County on a charge of attempted strong armed robbery.
