An arrest has been made after a fatal shooting in the Upstate, earlier this month. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a home on Donna Lane in Easley, the night of August 3rd. Upon arrival, officers found a man on the ground in the yard suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim 21 year old, Cory Ryder Vickery died after being transported to the hospital. The Sheriff's Office says that 21 year old, Micah Javon Duckett was arrested in connection to the shooting, Wednesday afternoon.
An arrest warrant says that messages were found on a cell phone that indicated the two were going to meet where and when Vickery was shot. Duckett has been charged with murder and is being held without bond in Pickens County.
