An arrest has been made after a shooting in Western North Carolina earlier this summer. As we previously reported, the Asheville Police Department responded to an apartment complex on Atkinson Street on June 21st.
Upon arrival, officers found shell casings, gunfire damage and blood at the scene, but no victims were present. Police were then notified that two gunshot victims had come into Mission Hospital.
38 year old, Brandon Norelle Miller was later identified as the suspect. Police say Miller was found with drugs and a handgun during his arrest. Miller faces a list of charges, including assault with a deadly weapon, trafficking heroin and multiple other crimes.
Miller is being held without bond in Buncombe County.
