An arrest has been made following a shooting that left two people dead and hospitalized another. As we previously reported, The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at a home on Ivy Woods Court in Fountain Inn, around 330 Friday afternoon.
Two of the victims were dead on the scene when Deputies arrived, a 3rd victim was transported to the hospital. 45-year-old Patrick Aloyisius Piotte was arrested in Spartanburg County on Friday evening and is charged with shooting the three victims.
Investigators say he was familiar with at least one of the victims. The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the two deceased victims as 45 year old, Andrew Paul Smith and 72 year old Richard Ernest Smith both lived in the house, where the incident took place.
There's been no word on a motive or what led to the shooting. As of the time of this report the 3rd victim was in stable condition at an area hospital.
