Arrest made following employee fight at Oconee County restaurant

An employee at an Oconee County restaurant is facing charges after he allegedly threw hot grease on one co-worker and assaulted two others. The Walhalla Police Department responded to a reported fight at the Zaxby's on Blue Ridge Boulevard, late last week. 49 year old, Thomas Lamar Cobb was arrested for assault and battery in the incident.

Police Cobb told them he had been drinking on the job and got into an argument with a co-worker. He also reportedly told officers that he threw a pan of grease on one of the victims, but didn't know it was hot. In total three victims reported being assaulted, one said Cobb choked them and another stated that he punched them.
