A suspect has been charged after a deadly shooting at a Greenville apartment complex last month.
As we previously reported, 25 year old Kylie Summer Rutledge was pronounced dead after being shot at an apartment in Greenville in early February.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office now says the suspected shooter is in custody. 23 year old, Cheyenne Carmel Rodriguez is charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Investigators say she shot Rutledge while the two were handling a gun. The two were guests at an apartment the sheriff's office says is known for drug activity. Following the shooting, the tenant of the apartment was charged for distributing meth and a weapons violation.
