Sunday night, Asheville Officers responded to a business parking lot on Patton Avenue after witnesses shared a man with a machete stole wallets and cash from two people before running off.
Just prior to this incident, Officials with the Asheville Police Departement believe the suspect attempted a 3rd robbery.
37 year old Lamon Lewis Goggans faces multiple charges includinging two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
He was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Center, bond set at $100,000.
