A middle-of-the-night social gathering in Easley Sunday, October 4, 2026, ended with deputies searching for a stabbing suspect.
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to Highland Road around 3:15 Sunday morning, where they found a person with what appeared to be stab wounds to the upper torso. The victim was taken to the hospital by EMS.
A BOLO (be on the lookout) was issued for the suspect, and Easley Police later found the person in a vehicle near the scene. When officers tried to make contact, the driver took off — leading police on a chase into Greenville County.
Just before 5:30 Sunday morning, patrol units used a forcible stop to end the chase on White Horse Road. The suspect was arrested and taken back to Pickens County.
A search warrant at the original scene uncovered a second victim, who deputies say had also been assaulted. That person was taken to the hospital.
Investigators say a social gathering was taking place at the scene, with a large amount of alcohol consumed. Detectives are working to identify everyone who attended and determine what criminal charges may be appropriate.
