Audacy Greenville sets record for number of SCBA Award Nominees

Audacy Greenville has garnered a record setting number of finalists for this year's awards from the South Carolina Broadcasters Association. The group had a total of 19 Finalist nominations out of 21 categories.

WROQ Classic Rock 101.1 and The Fan Upstate both were on the list for production on a promo. The Audacy App Promo from WROQ and the NFL Draft Promo for the Fan Upstate are finalists in that category.

WSPA Magic 106.3 got the nod for a their "Mistletoe Moments" multi-spot campaign. Magic's Sheri Taylor is in the final running for Best Music Show and Personality Of The Year. WSPA is also up for Station Of The Year.

News/Talk 98.9 WORD had another tremendous showing with the number of finalists it has. Charlie James is up for Personality Of The Year, he and Tara Servatius are both in the final group for News Talk Show Of The Year. Rob Jones was named a finalist for News Reporter Of The Year. His first nomination since joining Audacy Greenville in late 2020. "I'm Listening" on WORD was named a finalist for Best Public Affairs Program.

The personalities of the Fan Upstate continue to set a high standard in the Sports Talk format, statewide. Both, The Rob Brown Show and Offsides With Marc Ryan are both finalists for Sports Talk Show Of The Year. Rob Brown also was named a finalist for Sportscaster Of The Year.

Morning radio veterans Hawk and Tom landed finalist nominations for Radio Show Of The Year and Best Morning Show. The Hawk and Tom Show has been a staple for B93.7 for decades and continues to draw critical acclaim.

The South Carolina Broadcasters Association Awards Dinner will be August 12th at Hilton Columbia Center. Be looking for the announcement of the Award winners from Audacy Greenville.
