The Greenville County Coroner's Office has now released the results of the autopsy on 34 year old Terrance Maurice Sligh, the suspect that was fatally shot during a run in with deputies Wednesday.
As we previously reported, Terrance Maurice Sligh was shot and killed during an encounter with Deputies Wednesday. Sheriff Hobart Lewis said Wednesday afternoon, that Deputies were serving a warrant on Sligh for sending a picture of a gun, in a threatening message to his ex-girlfriend. He also said, Sligh was armed during the encounter.
The Coroner's report says, his cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and ruled his manner of death homicide. The four Deputies involved all are on paid administrative leave while the fatal shooting is under investigation.
