The suspect in a fatal hit and run collision in Greenwood County May 17, 2024 has been arrested.
53 year old Michael Bryan Hayes of Greenville was hit and killed while riding his bicycle on Highway 185 near Pickens Creek Road Friday morning. The Coroner said Hayes died at the scene around 6am.
Officials said the suspect vehicle, a 1998 Ford pickup, left the scene.
Saturday evening, May 18, 2024, the suspect, 26 year old Tristan Frank McClain, was booked into the Greenwood County Detention Center and charged with hit-and-run involving death.
