A proposed bill that calls for a major rules change in the South Carolina State House is not moving forward, at least not yet. Last Thursday, The House Rules Committee heard the proposal for H4735.
The bill that would no longer allow House Members to have amendments heard unless they are chosen by the House Majority or Minority Leader. Freedom Caucus Member and State Representative Adam Morgan joined the Tara Show last week to talk about the bill prior to it going to committee.
After hearing discussion about the bill on the Tara and Charlie James Shows many WORD a number of listeners contacted their local representatives and voiced their displeasure. H4735 will not move forward for now, it is expected to be re-worded in some fashion before being revisited.
