A company that provides large-scale data services to other companies is building a billion dollar campus in York County. It's the first South Carolina operation for QTS Data Centers.
Its co-location centers offer businesses the use of high-speed servers, data storage and a range of personnel services that can provide state-of-the art digital systems at a fraction of the cost of building, maintaining and staffing their own in-house.
The QTS website says job opportunities will be posted as the York County operation ramps up. QTS also says, its 400-acre York campus will deploy advanced technology to produce the massive amounts of cooling and electricity required by high-speed data systems with minimal environmental impact.
