A tragic discovery was made at an Upstate lake over the weekend. A rescue dive team was called to Lake Cunningham in Greenville County Sunday afternoon to search for a person, who was last seen in the water at Lake Cunningham.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office was called to the scene around 4 PM after emergency crews recovered a body from the lake. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as 38 year old, Chuck Gilbert Shelton of Greer. The incident remains under investigation.
