Officials say a body was found in a lake in the Midlands, Thursday afternoon. The SCDNR says the body of a kayaker was recovered from Lake Carolina by firefighters from the Columbia- Richland Fire Department.
The Richland County Coroner's Office has not yet released the identity of the deceased.
