More mayhem in the mountains as a bomb threat shutdown a school in Western North Carolina. The Yancey County Sheriff's Office says notes that stated "I have a bomb" were found at East Yancey Middle School, Wednesday morning.
That led to the school being evacuated and searched. Investigators say no credible threat was found and the bomb threat was a hoax. The Sheriff's Office says they have identified two juvenile suspects they believed to be involved.
However, the names of the suspects will not be released due to them being underage. Students returned to class after the search was conducted and the all-clear was given.
