Bond has been denied for the suspect in a fatal Cherokee County shooting last year. As we previously reported, 37 year old Scottie Lindsay of Gaffney was charged with murder and a weapons violation after a fight that led to a deadly shooting in May of last year.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office says, 22 year old Demetrius Wood was killed in the shooting. The U.S. Marshals located Lindsay in the Charlotte area, a few weeks ago and took him into custody.
He was extradited back to Cherokee County on Tuesday and was denied bond during a court appearance Wednesday.
