The suspect in the largest murder case in Spartanburg County history will remain behind bars, after seeing a judge Wednesday. James Drayton is accused of shooting and killing five people at a home in Inman on Sunday.
He was apprehended in Burke County, Georgia on Monday. Officials there say, he robbed a store at gunpoint and then led police on a chase. He's currently being held in Georgia on charges connected to that incident.
A magistrate judge in Burke County did not set a bond for Drayton. He will have to wait to see a superior court judge for another attempt at getting a bond set.
