Carbon monoxide from generator leaves two dead at Upstate home

New details have emerged after two people were found dead at an Upstate home, over the weekend. Officials in Anderson County responded to a mobile home on Joe Black Road near Williamston, around 7PM Sunday.

Officials say a man and woman were found dead inside the mobile home. The cause of death for the pair has been ruled as carbon monoxide poisoning. The two were running a generator inside the home to power a heater, due to not having electricity.

The two victims have not been identified, as of the time of this report.
