Three Anglers have made a "catch of a lifetime" according to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.
The Anglers hooked their prize on Lake Jocassee. Brian Bowen caught a Brown Trout on January 22, 2024. Officials said it measured 23.5 inches long and weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces.
January 23, 2024, Casey Jones caught his Brown Trout, weighing 5 pounds 6 ounces. His trout was released successfully back into the water.
On February 3rd, Jeff Lamb reeled in a 6 pound 10 ounce Brown Trout measuring 25 inches.
