Three people have been charged with murder in connection to a shooting that killed an Upstate teenager. 37 year old Grace Lynn Smith of Piedmont, 19 year old Anthony Cole Howard of Williamston, and a juvenile have all been charged with murder and shooting into a dwelling.
The charges stem from a February shooting at a home in Belton that left 14 year old, Elijah Sergent dead.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says, the three were previously charged with manslaughter, those charges have been upgraded after more information was discovered during the investigation.
All three suspects currently being held without bond.
