Child Rescued from Ferocious Anderson County House Fire

This past Saturday, February 17th, a child was rescued from a ferocious Anderson County house fire.

According to the Townville Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page, the child, Sadie, had to be flown to the burn center in Georgia.

A shared post on the page said 4 children in the home near Coneross Point at the time of fire were able to get out safely, but Sadie was trapped inside until emergency crews reached her and rescued her from the blaze, having to restart her heart on scene.

The family is asking everyone to pray for a miracle as doctors fear possible brain damage. Family members shared Saturday night, Sadie’s “vitals are good and her organs are holding up” and is taking medicine for her heart. The fire remains under investigation.
