Sailors from the U.S. Navy have recovered the Chinese surveillance balloon off of South Carolina's coast. U.S. Fleet Forces say the high altitude balloon was recovered Sunday. Pictures of the mission were posted on the U.S. Fleet Forces Twitter page Tuesday morning.

The U.S. Navy also says, that the USS Carter Hall has been collecting debris from the area the balloon splashed down in the Atlantic, which was just a few miles from Myrtle Beach.
