Church painted pink as part of real estate developer's ongoing feud with Congressman Timmons

A church building in downtown Greenville that has now been painted pink is drawing heavy attention. That is exactly the intent of the man behind the idea. The church was painted by a real estate developer who is in the middle of an ongoing issue with 4th District Congressman William Timmons.

Real Estate Developer Ron Rallis is behind the painting of the building that formerly housed the Bible Way Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church on Woodside Avenue. The company Rallis owns reportedly purchased the property a few months back , but let church members use the building until they we were ready to clear out.


The building was then painted pink, an old Greenville police car was placed in the yard and word trap was written on the front exterior wall. That was all done by Rallis is raise awareness of his issues with Congressman William Timmons.

Rallis has accused the Congressman of having an extra-marital affair with his estranged wife. Timmons appeared on both the Tara Show and The Charlie James Show earlier this week, neither confirming nor denying the claim of the affair. Fits News is reporting that Rallis told them that Timmons abused his power by having him arrested last year, on a charge that Rallis described as "Trumped Up".
