As heavy rain continues throughout Tuesday in the area, the Upstate's largest city is warning the public.
Greenville officials report flash flooding events in the city. Greenville is under a flood advisory. That has caused City officials to close parts of Swamp Rabbit Trail, Unity Park and the River Street Underpass.
Data says that more than half of the flooding deaths in the U.S. occur with victims in a vehicle. The City Of Greenville and the National Weather Service is warning drivers not to try and drive through flooded roads.
They say "Turn Around Don't Drown"
