The Clinton Police Department is investigating after a clerk was shot during an armed robbery at a convenience store. Police responded to the Marathon store on West Main Street, just before 10PM Tuesday.
Upon arrival, officers found an employee suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Police say the suspect, was a black man wearing a hoodie and black jeans. He fled on foot and is still at large, as of the time of this report.
