The Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor Office says 37-year-old Braden Spears Bowers appeared in court Friday, February 13, 2026, after being extradited from Mexico.
Bowers was arrested in September 2022 in Greenville County with more than 200 grams of cocaine. He pled guilty in January 2023, but after being released on bond, he removed his ankle monitor and fled to Mexico before sentencing.
The U.S. Marshals Task Force tracked him down and extradited him to Texas in January. He was returned to Greenville County last week and sentenced by a Judge to 25 years in state prison.
