An Upstate town looks poised for continued growth. On Tuesday, the Greer City Council approved an initial proposal on two new residential developments. One of those potential developments is a subdivision that would total over 23 acres on Old Jones Road. The plan for that area would see 92 new houses built in that subdivision.
Another potential development would use 21 acres on Abner Creek Road for a townhouse community with 136 units. The council also gave final approval to rezone just over 8 acres on South Buncombe Road and Brushy Creek Road with plans for an apartment complex in that area.
