
A book deemed as offensive has been removed from a book at an Upstate school, Thursday. Officials from Spartanburg School District says the book titled "Heartstopper Two", was found at the Florence Chapel Middle School Book Fair, Thursday.
Officials say, the book contains profane and sexual language and also features a homosexual relationship. The description of the book says that it's two main male characters were best friends until "one kiss changed everything".
School Superintendent Randall Gary sent an email out saying an inappropriate book had been removed and is under review by leaders from the district.
