Just shy of four months after the death of a 7 year old Anderson girl, the Coroner’s Office has released a cause of death, and two have been arrested…
On August 30th of this year, Adylyn Briella Thrasher, identified by the Coroner, was found unresponsive and not breathing at her home on West Franklin Street in Anderson. She later died at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital on September 2nd.
An investigation led agents to discover Thrasher suffered cardiac arrest and died due to methadone toxicity. Multiple agency’s conducted the investigation comprising of the Anderson County Coroner’s Office, Police Department, SLED-SVU and Social Services.
This past Friday, Chief Jim Stewart with the Anderson Police Department confirmed Joshua Dale Lollis and Roxanne Faith King, legal custodians of the 7 year old, were arrested in connection to Thrasher’s death.
Both have been charged with unlawful neglect of a child and remain in the Anderson County Detention Center, bond denied, according to the Detention Center website.
