Death of two year old child under investigation

An investigation is underway following the death of an Upstate child Wednesday night. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded shortly before 11 PM, to a report of an unconscious two year old boy at a home on Belk Street in Greenville. The boy was transported to an area hospital where he later died. The Sheriff's Office says the investigation is ongoing and no further information was available as of the time of this report.
