Officials with the North Carolina Department Of Health and Human Services says the death toll from Hurricane Helene has now climbed over a hundred.
As of Wednesday, morning state officials have confirmed that there have been 101 storm related deaths. Buncombe County has accounted for 43 of those fatalities.
