
There are no statewide races in South Carolina on this election day, however there are numerous municipal races to be decided. In the Greenville City Council race there are elections for District 2, District 4 and at-large seats as well as Greenville Commission of Public Works.
Across Greenville County there is also a mayoral race in Travelers Rest as well as four at-large seats for city council. There are also city council races in Greer, Mauldin, Simpsonville, Fountain Inn as well as various special district elections across the county.
There is a three way race for mayor of Spartanburg after the incumbent Junie White declined to run for re-election. There are also three city council seats to be decided.
In the rest of Spartanburg County, there are mayoral and/or town council races in Campobello, Central Pacolet, Chesnee, Cowpens, Duncan, Inman, Landrum, Lyman, Pacolet, Reidville, Wellford and Woodruff
In Anderson County there are Mayor and City Council elections in Pendleton, Pelzer, West Pelzer, Iva and Honea Path.
Polls open at 7AM and close at 7PM. Anyone in line at 7PM will still be allowed to vote. Voter identification is required in South Carolina and you must have been a registered voter for at least 30 days before the election. Your polling precinct location can be found on your South Carolina voter registration card.
