Bond has been denied for a man who law enforcement calls a "frequent flyer."
On Thursday, December 14th, Anderson County Deputies pulled over a stolen truck on Airline Road, driven by Zachary Chase Ashworth. Officials said he was "truckin' along with drugs."
Inside the stolen vehicle, close to 5 grams of methamphetamine and more than 6 grams of fentanyl was found. Ashworth was also driving with a suspended license and four prior convictions.
Court documents say he was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and trafficking meth on November 29th. In this latest arrest, Ashworth has been charged with trafficking fentanyl, distribution of meth and habitual offender per driving under suspension.
A judge denied his bond on all charges and he remains behind bars in the Anderson County Detention Center.
