An Upstate Sheriff's Office seized nearly a $100,000 during the arrest of a North Carolina robbery suspect, last week.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office assisted the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in locating an armed robbery suspect, last Wednesday.
Deputies made a traffic stop of the suspect's vehicle on Exit 4 off of I-85. They then arrested the suspect, 30 year old Charley Curry of Houston, Texas. Deputies found a backpack with over $95,000 cash.
Investigators say Curry was part of a group of suspects who were behind the robbery of an ATM in Charlotte. Curry is currently being held at the Anderson County Detention Center. A booking of the suspect can be seen on our website, 989WORD.Com
