The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says a deputy was shot in the foot, last Wednesday. The incident happened during a training session on Industrial Park and Highway 28 in Abbeville County.
A deputy has been placed on administrative leave while the Office Of Professional Standards investigates the incident. The injured deputy was treated at an area hospital and has since been released.
