An Upstate man faces a list of charges after an incident, at the restaurant he worked in. The Anderson Police Department responded to a report of a hostile employee with a gun at the Mission Grill on Greenville Street, just before 10 AM Monday.
Investigators say, that 49 year old Gary Lamar Brown threatened his co-workers after becoming angry, when his hours were cut. Police say, some of the restaurant employees hide in a freezer during the incident. Brown reportedly left on a bicycle, but returned less than 30 minutes later.
When he returned, Brown was fired and became irate and hit one employee in the head. Brown is charged with multiple weapons violations and two counts of assault.
