The driver in a fatal Upstate holiday crash in 2021 has pleaded guilty. The crash happened in Pickens County on Thanksgiving Day of 2021. The victim 40 year old, Jodah Mullinax was riding a minibike when he was hit by a vehicle. Mullinax died at the scene.
The suspect, Barney Trotter was originally charged with felony DUI resulting in death. He agreed to a plea deal on a charge of involuntary manslaughter. Trotter has been sentenced to five years in prison.
