An elderly Upstate woman is in custody after allegedly shooting at her neighbor. 80 year old Odessa Rice, was arrested at her Union County home after deputies responded to a report of shots fired around 3:30 Thursday afternoon.
The victim told deputies that he was walking through his yard when Rice began firing at him. Investigators say Rice admitted to firing shots at her neighbor.
When asked how many bullets she fired, Rice responded with "As many as were in the gun". Rice was arrested and is charged with attempted murder. There were no injuries reported in the incident.
