An investigation into a fatal house fire in Greenville continues. A 911 call reporting smoke coming from a mobile home on Tray Drive came in, around 10:20 PM Thursday . Deputies say the call was made by a relative checking on a family member.
Fire rescue crews arriving on scene discovered an elderly woman inside the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been identified as 76-year-old Patricia Ann Butts. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
